We were vacationing with friends at their home in San Diego when we decided to go for a late-night swim. Photography is all about capturing moments. In this image, I have not just captured but also released this moment—to you, the viewer—of picking up the camera and accidentally pressing the shutter release button with a long enough exposure to blur the lit palms of the night beyond recognition.
