Allen Muresan | Las Vegas Headshot Photography

I first discovered photography at the tail-end of high school on a Canon film camera. I would just walk around downtown taking pictures of street people and signs or stay home taking pictures of my dog and leaves in the backyard.

I took a break from photography after taking a class on it in my first year of college. Realizing how time-consuming the process of developing and printing really turned me off. I liked photography, but not enough to spend all my money on chemicals, paper and film and all my time in a dark room.

Fast forward a number of years later when I borrowed my dad's old (even then) Canon digital camera to have my girlfriend take a few pictures (top-right) of me for my music website (Allen Michael Music). 

After we'd gotten a few nice pictures of me, it was time to return the favor by taking some photos of her, which you can see at Zen Ritual | Headshot Photography. And that's how my passion for photography was reignited!—except now, I spend all my money on lenses and other equipment and spend all my time in Lightroom and Photoshop—and I'm OK with it!

Advanced Laser Imaging Center | Las Vegas Corporate Photography

Working with Dr. Mall at New Image Advanced Laser Skin Center was a lot of fun. We took portraits of him and his staff as well as environmental and "candid" photography around the office. We even created a custom video for his website and lobby.

The photos and videos do a great job of familiarizing visitors of the website with Dr. Mall, his staff and his office. That way, when they visit the office, they'll feel comfortable like they already know everyone there! 

Many medical web pages use stock photos of models who have likely never received the procedures that their images are being used to advertise. Having a few authentic photos on your website are more welcoming to average people and can establish more realistic expectations as well.

Jennifer Bellor | Las Vegas Portrait Photographer

We first met Professor Bellor while attending UNLV in 2015. She has since become a friend and regular collaborating of projects with Zen Ritual. We have done portrait photoshoots in Las Vegas with her (Zen Ritual | Portrait Photography) and have produced music videos for her as well (Zen Ritual | Music Videos)

Palmes d'Or | Las Vegas Fine Art Photography

Rarely do the best things in life come about by accident, but this one did. Bob Ross would call it a "happy accident." 

We were vacationing with friends at their home in San Diego when we decided to go for a late-night swim. Photography is all about capturing moments. In this image, I have not just captured but also released this moment—to you, the viewer—of picking up the camera and accidentally pressing the shutter release button with a long enough exposure to blur the lit palms of the night beyond recognition.

Lydia Zavala | Las Vegas Portrait Photography

Sometimes people come into your life in such unexpected ways! We would have never met Lydia if her manager didn't happen to ask a stranger on the street if he knew any good photographers. Luckily, that stranger was Allen's dad, so of course he referred us!

Working with Lydia was so much fun, and I think that comes through in her portrait photography in Las Vegas.

Scottsdale, December 2015 | Scottsdale Travel Photography

This was one of Tango's first road trips. We had a great time driving to Scottsdale, Arizona. The desert skies and sunsets are beautiful, and we had the streets to ourselves as we explored downtown at night. I gave an impromptu lunchtime concert for the senior citizens at my grandmother's retirement home. After that, we continued exploring the city visiting cafes, bars and vintage thrift shops before having a last-minute lunch with some old friends and heading back home to Las Vegas!

This was one of my first photoshoots that I did for my friend Ayo several years ago when I was still shooting on a little Canon Rebel XTi. Reign Ayo is singer/producer already popular in Nigeria and breaking the Western markets with his fusion of traditional African beats & melodies with contemporary Pop music.
